I heard that it was used onsite for fertilizer - but never did talk to any manager to confirm. The buildup of seaweed on the beach was being managed by raking and by tractoring away. It drove us to reserve away from that area to the beach - which was not entirely a bad choice. The only big downside to our trip was the awful music chosen for the Beach Club pool. Magdalena in housekeeping kept our room in order beautifully. Our last evening we walked through Salum to Quinta and were bedazzled! What a great place! We had the best service and care from Andrea, the concierge at the Beach Club, along with excellent service and food served by German, Miguel, Wilbert, and Jairo. The beach is very inviting and made more so because the "music" at the pools was headache fodder - Who the heck listens to Techno-Beat? We dined at Tramonto, Quinta, Gong and the cafe at the Beach Club. The rooms at the Grand Mayan are still very comfortable and wonderfully large and well-maintained. Our branch of the family stayed at the Grand Mayan while the rest bedded down at the Grand Bliss. We returned to Vidanta Rivera Maya with our sisters and family for a second visit after six years going elsewhere. I have requested to cancel this reservation due to this parking T… I called Vidanta and spoke with Yolanda, who stated her office was never made aware of the parking problem with Vidanta. of consumer affairs in Florida, to handle this. If necessary, I will also contact the Better Bsiness Bureau and the Dept. This is completely and totally unacceptable. I am following their direction on what to do. I have called the consumer agency in Me ico, called PROFECO. I have a reservation for July 7th., for one week. If you need access to your car in the middle of the night, you will have to wait until tge following day to do so. You will ve forced into using their golf carts to come into the resort, and before you leave.
You will be at their mercy, waiting for at least 45 minutes for the dam car. An absolute nightmare, as they semand and require that you leave your car to be parked far away from your room. If you are rejting a car at the airport, or bringing your car ro this resort, please think twice about it. También visitamos el restaurante italiano nos gusto la diferencia la hace Irma Juarez, violinista que esta algunas noches solamente debería estar diario. Nuestro restaurante favorito fue Havana Moon con excelente servicio de parte de Luciano. Me parece que las cartas de restaurantes son limitadas falta un más variedad de platillos, además que los costos son muy altos. The first suite they put us in was full of bugs and spiders and mean 100’s of them. He said he would pay out way back and then lied We had to pay ourselves. We paid $260 for three people to get to and back from resort with was only supposed to cost $90. This is outrageous! Never Ever will go back to Cancun! The Manager came to our room and made promises to us ti make up for all the hassles. In the end we were Charged over $1700.00 to eat and have drinks occasionally. Didn’t realize until we came home and matched the tickets they added to ever single meal. Example of eating… one lite meal was $52 American Dollars when I got home they charged $70.80. On the second day they cut off the credit! In no way did we spend $1500 eating in two days for two people. They ask for a $1500 deposit on arrival and said charge to the room is best. This place overcharged Everything! None of the tickets match to my credit card.
